Photography Interest Group Photo Shoot April '11
I barley caught the green on the Great Egret's beak.
Anhingas were nesting right along with egrets and wood storks.
Anhingas have a fury light tan neck, and are about 1/3 larger than cormorants
This wood stork has an itch!

This Great Egret has captured a twig for her nest.
Time to fly away to build my nest!
I had to study this for a while to figure out who's beak was with what stork!
Great Egret keeps an eye on us photographers.
Flight was difficult to catch, my focus was not ideal.
Coming in for a landing!
You said what, you heard me, you got nest duty tonight!
Wish I had a canoe, I would like to have had Mr. Sun at my back. |
