Washington DC day 2

On to the Blue Metro to Arlington Cemetery.  The morning was beautiful, 70, plenty of sunshine with hardly a trace of wind.  After my emotional moment yesterday, today started with more of the same.  I'll let the photos tell the story.

Tomb stones are in a straight line no matter which angle you look.

I still remember exactly where I was on the day of JFK's assignation.

Jackie is at his side...

Brother Bobby Kennedy instructed in his will to be buried with a white cross marker, he is interred adjacent to JFK.

At one time they permitted different size tomb stones.

The following sequence is at the time of changing the guard...on a hourly rotation 24/7/365!
